    You are right.
36 Metric tons are equivalent to 79,366.41 pounds.
I was so close, I almost got it.
    Thank you Fibonacci.

    Well, how about 5,714 stones? ( 1 stone = 14 lbs)
    Or, 161, 643.8 Newtons ( 1 Newton = 0.49387 lbs.)

    You are too late now.
You know what time it is?
    Redwood Creek time, Sir.
California Cabernet Sauvignon time in layman terms.
    Frei Brothers Vintage 2020.
Who said Cali is good for nothing?
Not me. But if it was me, Mea Culpa.
    Mea Maxima Culpa.

    Oh yea?
What's heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold?

    Neither.
They are just a pound of different density thingies.
You should wait for the second bottle of Cabernet.
By the third one all my answers will be bot like.
But way funnier. I'll bet an empty bottle for a full one.
    Cheers, friend.

I Love this question because there are actually several tricks to it besides the seemingly obvious one.
Gold and other precious metals are weighed in Troy ounces, not Imperial (Avoirdupois) ounces as feathers are. A Troy ounce is actually heavier than an Imperial ounce. But, it gets better, A Troy pound is only 12 Troy ounces whereas an Imperial pound is 16 Imperial ounces. It works out that a Troy pound is lighter than an Imperial pound. So, a pound of feathers IS heavier than a pound of Gold.
NOW it's vino time, I prefer mine from Itailia BTW! Cin cin!!!
