Company drivers don't pay for the gas (fuel) out of their own pocket. They're issued a company fuel card that works on a nationwide system like a ComData card. Then you use it like a credit card at the truck stop and then the company is billed for the fuel.
This would have been a stupid question if you hadn't asked.Vwal528 Thanks this. -

No they don't the company gives the driver a fuel card... most use the com data card. But the answer is a definite no companies pay for their fuel nit the drivers.
-
Heck I never buy gas, even my pick up is diesel, ahh I never buy diesel ether, just keep a hose handy, of course I kid. Com data card is the ticket.
-
It's common for expedite drivers to pay for fuel . They get 60% of the gross revenue and fuel costs come out of that .
-
Yes they pay for there own gas! (in their car)
If you are a company driver then the company pays for the fuel/diesel.
If you are an O.O. then yes your whole pay check goes for fuel and whatever is left over you can put gas in your car!
