This is why mega's want students.
The rest of us won't put up with this and
    They know it.

    Do your year op.
Then move on to greener pastures
Like the rest of us did.

I've forgotten most of the backroads I
    Used to run.
    It's all interstate now.

Some of those roads are not supposed to be interstates. But eh.

Nothing like a nice QUIET run through the woods with a small diner cooking up some fixings. Hear the birds come the morning. Now it's a 6 lane over engineered nightmare.

All those extra miles from poor gps routing has begun to affect me. I'm taking longer than I need to in explaining things.

You're at Schneider so we don't have to follow the recomnended gallons. As long as you don't put in fuel at anyplace other than the designated fuel locations in the active dispatch.

You also don't have to follow the Navigo provided directions. If you know a better way, and its safe and legal, have at it. That said if the route you take causes you to be late, you will most likely hear about it.

Also a lot of the "goat paths" they route you on feel really hard right now. In 6 months you'll run them and they won't ve nearly as challenging. In 6 years you'll wonder why you ever thought that road was hard to begin with.

When I chose a route I look at 3 things - safety, speed, and ease - in that order. Safety first and always, I will add a lot of time and miles if it increases safety. However I will take a much harder road if it significantly increases the hours I have to drive when available for the next load.
