I think it's a better idea to get cochlear implants or a hearing aid. Then you can still hear the music at a decent level, as well as maybe your surroundings or strange noises from your equipment.

In my old company truck that had a mediocre stereo in it I bought a desktop home system at Best Buy for $120 that had a 300 watt sub and 2 desktop speakers you could control the treble and midrange on.
Plugged it into my inverter to power it up , put the woofer over on the passenger well and the desktop speakers on the dash .
I ran a y cable out of the deck input from the portable Bluetooth receiver.Last edited: Sep 6, 2022

My last truck was a volvo 780...
All 780's and 860's have as standard a 9 speaker system with amp... 2 in the doors, 2 in the dash, 2 at the lower bunk and 2 at the upper bunk PLUS sup... -

I used a JBL PRX 1 , plugs into your inverter 110 , it will blow your face off , the tweeter stand breaks down it will lay on its side under the bunk.
It is very portable all Bluetooth so you can bring it home and piss the neighborhood off.Last edited: Sep 8, 2022
