actually, yes it's a very serious addiction like a disease. It's how I know to stay away from the really bad stuff. Tobacco is too ###### expensive, but I suffer really bad from ####### syndrome every time I try to quit. It is what it is. and yes, I most certainly did learn something. 1 I'm a very lucky man. 2 I better know my #### going into a situation like this in the future. 3. I will never forget to grab my coffee in the morning again. Being full of coffee would have saved me from this whole situation.

That's great news. Nobody needs to lose their job over something so little. But now you know a DOT drug test is serious business with strict guide lines. It's nothing like a person that takes a casual drug test at a factory for employment.

I just quit, and the only reason I quit was I finally had the back surgery I needed . . . three days in the hospital really helped that . . .

I think I'll give the patch another shot. If I can keep it from peeling off half way through the day and sending me into a fit of rage before I even know what hit me, I'll be all good.

Patch didn't work for me. I ended up with the patch on and lighting up. Then contemplating adding another patch. Then getting dizzy and realizing that this wasn't working.

If a o/o has to join a * Consortium * for random testing , How does it work , does the o/o buy a kit , keep it in the truck, or house and when picked for testing ( email/phone ? ) do they test them self's and send /take it in . New stuff to me ? I'm clean just trying to get all info ..Thanks

I'll take a stab at it, they get sent to a clinic like anyone else the only difference is the paperwork goes to a different place. I'm assuming the TPA handles that for you, but I'm not positive (unless you test the BA).
