Hi to all of you truckers. I recently was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma (Cancer). And I have been researching everything I can on it. Sugar feeds all cancers. Infact, Cancer thrives on it. The only safe sugar substitute is called Stevia. And it is not cheap, but I use it to keep my sugar levels down. I also don't eat anymore Carbohydrates than I have to, as they mostly turn into sugar once they pass through the mouth. Carbohydrates I call them Carbs are in potatoes, most breads, Rye bread is all that I can eat now. And I have learned to like it. Even though I didn't before. I am fighting for my life, and my diet has changed drastically.I hope and pray that none of you truckers ever get Cancer. I have to go through about 4 hours of Chemo every 3 weeks. Before they even start the Chemo, they have to draw blood, send that to the lab, then they send the results to the pharmacy, then they mix up the chemo, then send it to my nurse for my infusion. It all takes about 10 hours for me. So it is no picnic. And after an hour drive home, I get to look forward to getting sick for the next week or so. I think the Chemo is worse than the disease. Cancer can only thrive in a high acid and low oxygen environment. And Sugar turns our internal environment into a high acid and a low oxygen one.. It has been very hard not to eat Carbs, but if I can do it, anyone can.
