Sitting here at TA in Georgia I 95 exit 29 out on the back row. Just had a 53 footer come nosing in next to me at a backward angle doing 25 mph. Thought for sure that was the end of my hood. Then she started backing up to try and straighten out and I figured I'll be needing a new mirror. Finally after about 5 times going back and forth she managed to straighten it out and get in the spot. Then, in broken English she told me "I was trying to geet on the other side of jou".
Reckon I ought to move to another spot? -
(Leave it to Chinatown to ask that question.)

I believe in letting a driver choose to operate his rig however he thinks would work out for his(or her) way of getting the job done safely. But....On the pulling straight in thing. I don't do it. More power to the driver that does park that way. Just don't knock on my door at 3 am asking me to pull my truck straight ahead so he has some room to jack his truck and trailer out of the parking slot. It might have been an easy entrance into the parking slot at 5:30 pm. But during the night while he was sleeping an inconsiderate dummy parked his truck long ways against the curb shortening the distance that he needs to back out. So now he is stuck in that slot until I or the truck beside him leaves. Because the dummy that parked against the curb behind him is at home in bed.

There's a pin up of whatever it is in the bosses office. I've fallen into a disturbed group of individuals. On a side note from what I'm seeing on the 20 miles of Interstate I drive daily, this industry has hit the bottom. Retirement can't come soon enough.
