I had a utility flat for a number of years. It was a decent trailer. Mine was a combo. Steel frame and cross members. Alum rail and deck.
I wouldn't be afraid of one for general flatbed work.OLDSKOOLERnWV, stwik and cke Thank this. -
I own a combination trailer with a conestoga on it. With my setup I couldn’t load 48,000 and be legal. I have borrowed my freinds 2017 MAC all aluminum trailer, and it does a great job, not trying to sell you on a MAC. 32,000 setting in the middle and still had a great arch.

Any idea what that conestoga weighs out of curiosity? Just the conestoga not the trailer. -
Roughly 3000 pounds extra.
The one I pulled anywaysadayrider Thanks this. -
Holly crispy cream batman. I kinda wanted one but not anymore. That's a lot of tarps. I don't know if I could haul 48k if I put that on my trailer.

We have a 53’ aero. I think it’s more like 1700 lbs more if you include the weight of the 8’ drops in the trailer without the conistoga? So maybe 1900 lbs total?
Our company trucks are all the same trucks and trailers except one has the conistoga. She can haul just short of 47k lbs.
The boys have tarps and can just squeeze on 48k lbs with full tanks.1johnb, stwik, jamespmack and 2 others Thank this.
