    Hi Everyone,
I booked a load today with Sunteck Transport at 11:21am and the pick up window was from 9am to 11am and delivery was set for 2pm over 100 miles away from pick up. Sunteck personal assured me that was no problem and that both shipper and receiver would wait.

When I booked the load I was clear that my driver was coming from 80 miles away.

About half way to the pick up my driver informed me that he had an air leak coming from the black air line that connects to the firewal inside the cab. I reported this to Sunteck Immediately. The Person that booked the load with me was actually understanding and said she would recover the load.

However DAVID GOMBAS SENT ME A REALLY DISRESPECTFUL EMAIL stating my service was garbage and that he had made a complaint about my company to never use me again. I went on to explain to him that we had booked this load past the pick up window so we were not totally at fault for missing pick up. He did not care to hear me out and continued on with his disrespect.

I believe Mr Gombas should not be working in the Trucking Industry if he can't understand that trucks do break down all of a sudden. He needs to have the ability to rationalize before blowing up on another person. In this case, We booked a load that was already a last minute load, and we were only booked on it for about 2 hours total before we had to come off the load. In efforts to make it right, I offered to pick up the load the next morning , meaning we would lay our driver over just to cover this load.

Mr Gombas had no consideration for me nor my company before making a complaint and blowing off some steam.

By far, I believe the Trucking Business is not perfect and things happen all the time are unexpected.

Did you have to tow the truck? How long did the repair take?

Sunteck gets no business from us no matter how good the rate is. They call and ask for capacity and i will place them on hold and we start placing bets here at the office to see how long they wait.

I never haul there loads, years ago I was going to lease on to them, but the guy I don't remember is name said to me you cannot work for us because you moved around too much really, at the time change job two times in 7 months before that it was 8 years at the same place, so I ask what you expect me to stay at a place if I was not making enough to pay my bills and is reply was yes, so words I told him would get me ban here so let's just leave it like that,

They were willing to give you the load and waive the pickup and delivery appointment requirements with the understanding that you had a truck available NOW, and it was dispatched and on the way to the pickup, NOW.

You had a mechanical problem, and that changed everything. The fact that you expected them to be OK with holding an already distressed load for you while you fixed your equipment problem makes me think that there's a lot more to this story than just what you've posted here.

I've never been able to come to terms with Sunteck where rates are concerned, so I've never booked anything with them.

I think you are on to something. I get a little suspect when someone joins the same day a starts off with a lengthy complaint. I never called on a sundeck load and never will.

So you couldn't drive 100 miles with an air leak and just fix it afterwards. I don't blame that guy at all for what you say he did.

Sure most of us would do it, but maybe he was dumping too much just saying no sure, but a friend of mine drove 250 with a bown air bag,
