New guy here. Just hot done with a cdl school a week ago and I have orientation on Tuesday with swift at there Syracuse terminal.

I've been lurking here for about a week and learned a lot of stuff ( also learned anti swift sentiment is high)

So figured after all the lurking I'd pop in and say hi



Edit: p.s anyone know if swift is running manuals or autos in there trucks? Tried searching but no luck yet

 

I'll admit a lot of ignorance on my part. I had no idea how many company's out there paid or floated the bill to get your cdl. Earlier this week I talked to Jim palmer but they said they wouldent help me out on my contract. So I figure I'll do my time and move on.

 

I've got a few in mind already, always open to suggestions and opinions and I'm sure my list will grow a bit once I'm on the road. So far I'm thinking Jim palmer ( I really like there trucks ) and Crete for once my contracts done and I can bolt. I'm about an hour and a half out of Syracuse, about 20min east of Rochester.

 

I'll look into them thanks! I've only lived here two years I wouldent even think there was an ice cream stand in Rochester. City's got more crime then people...
