Contrary to what a lot of drivers think, companies don't make the insurance company their first call. The practice of making a driver pay for things he damages is debatable for sure. A lot of people, me included think it's a pretty poor way to handle things. On the other hand, if the damage was your fault, why should anyone else have to pay for it?
That will be an interesting matter to follow. SFI does allow you take the truck to other carriers, but if you want the $0 down flavor of the leasing, you have to go to Schneider.

If they're going to steal, they should have named their company something else.

So, I was reading this section on super ego.. I definitely saw that a few Drivers were indeed suing them for stealing... but what brought them to the conclusion that the company was stealing from them?.. And then I have this video of someone I follow on YouTube... He doesn't do endorsements of companies but gives you good information for you to decide on your own. I also saw the videos the driver showing his pay statements. Then, I had the opportunity to talk with a driver who was driving for them as a lease operator OTR, he only had positive things to say. The pay was definitely good, and he didn't have any complaints.. He didn't offer and I didn't ask for his info for driver recruiting bonus. I'm not defending them just putting it out there do your own research cause there will always be both good and bad feed back on any company. People will always say good things about the company that they work for regardless, Lol until they leave the company then it's Bad or good & bad reviews. One person experience with a company may not be your experience, it's all in how you handle your business, do your research and keep your level of professionalism to business only. Remember they are not there to be your friend, it's nothing personal it's Business.

With anything in life, an intelligent person will go with the majority in a situation. Of course they have some success stories. So does CR England. Research shows this company is a typical garbage company from the capital of garbage companies. Between the bad stories and seeing them on the road and dealing with them in truckstops….that is enough to tell one to stay far away.

Yeah lesson learned I just drove for a russian serbian company out of Chicago named high performance logistics llc that pulled super ego trailers and other rented trailers. After falling victim to the if it sounds to good to be true it usually is I realized the owner who brought me in was making empty promises and stealing money from me he mentioned that after all expenses that take home pay would be $2500-$3500 a week fuel was the biggest expense that was deducted from my settlement and the truck note was $1k the highest I made while driving for him was $2134 still below the $2500 mark I stayed there for a month and 2 weeks and then quit. I was a leased purchase driver that guy had me broke with negative checks for 2 consecutive weeks and during those last 2 weeks
notice he didn't honor it I'm still waiting for that last paycheck which will never come.Last edited: Dec 5, 2022

Right now I work a gig contracted and make 2500-3500 a week and am home everyday, I put lots of hrs in but its easy, I take naps and I don't stress, but have also seen jobs in fracking making 4-5k a week and if own truck profiting 30-40k a month. Basically how the market is. I also know quite a few other things, and have met recruiters that get drivers to those eastern euro companies and make 3-6k a week all while sitting at home. Most drivers here in America want to here another American speaking to them, and those companies know this. So if I talk you into working for one of them they pay me 1k for each driver I bring on. I don't do this. Just something I know others do. They don't care if they know this company will screw drivers.
Also working for a lot of companies here in America you are still getting screwed doing their fleece purchase. Idk, just gotta stay hungry and look around and find what works for you!!!Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Well I decided to give Super Ego a shot
And my story is very similar to a lot of drivers complaints I only stood a week and a half before I seen this company is some BS like how do you even call a driver telling him you have a load paying 1200 going to Delaware from south Alabama I was like how can I see money if I’ll pay close to 800 on fuel I told dispatch I prefer to get a load back to Chicago because every load was paid next to nothing I decided to deadhead back to the yard after dispatch claims he didn’t have anything going to chi my first full week was Atl to Connecticut then Ny to Springfield Mo after all deductions I got a statement for only 128 dollars and even tho I completed that week and decided to quit they didn’t even deposit My check I didn’t abandon the equipment or nothing I think this company is a scam I been driving over 15yrs and I never felt so screwed in my whole career maybe it’s dispatch and the economy but this was a waste of my time and money hotel, drug test ,food, flight, etc and yes I read reviews before even joining but I figured everybody different but if all says it’s bs sometimes it’s best to listen
