Super single questions

You can have a tire fire with any tire. You can have supers wear unevenly as well.. The key to getting the most out of your tires is proper air pressure, and try not to make really sharp turns at shipper and receivers unless you have no choice, especially in the warm weather. As for pulling straight, that has to do with alignment not tires, unless they have worn uneven Also supers run hotter.

 

How long have you been driving? You sound really new.

 

I get it, as I stated it's just my opinion. But personally to save 450 lbs I don't think it is worth it. Most drivers like me want to haul the lightest possible loads, as you get the best fuel mileage and less wear and tear. But if that's what you want, then by all means get them.

I started my 32nd year in January and I am always learning something new. One important thing to remember is, big trucks big bucks! When you make a mistake in trucking its expensive!
