The wheel’s mounting surface is placed in a different position, depending on the offset of the wheel. So, you’ll see some super singles tucked way in and others pushed way out. That affects the track width (distance from outside-to-outside of the tires) of the rear of the tractor. If it’s narrow, the rearend has a tendency to dance around more, because it’s riding the crown between the grooves in the pavement. Wider is better and the truck will drive better.

I’m in a truck with super singles on it. Duals on the trailer. I was wondering if anyone noticed a difference in ride with singles on the tractor
truck rides mighty rough. Bouncy. I’m feeling every bump in the road. I don’t remember a truck riding this rough with duals.
I don’t know… maybe the cab needs shocks or something
