It's $21.5 hourly, but it depends on weather, route, etc.... short runs always seem to pay better hourly.... longer runs probably not. But in any case he has always preferred to stay local, or regional, and absolutely does not want to be a system driver.... Just a matter of preference

from the way things are looking now, NOT GOOD! Got 2 very very short hauls from Macon, GA to Anderson, SC and then back to High Point. ALOT and I mean ALOT of Superior trucks were there! I thought it was a weekend, and it's only Wed.! NOT GOOD! Didn't see any Heniff trucks or tanks in HP. But I only have 400 miles for the week, so far, and now I'm getting VERY CONCERNED! I can't feed a family of 4 on that! I heard 2 guys say Heniff will start laying off drivers from SPCR to help with the coming in Heniff drivers. Who knows, application process will start shortly, this is BS! I see why drivers are jumping ship! Last year was slow, but nothing like this!!!!
