It's $21.5 hourly, but it depends on weather, route, etc.... short runs always seem to pay better hourly.... longer runs probably not. But in any case he has always preferred to stay local, or regional, and absolutely does not want to be a system driver.... Just a matter of preference

A system driver would for example, take a load from Texas to NJ. Unload and reload in NJ with say a load to IL. I usually stay out 10-15 days.

@slim shady does Heniff pay layover? If so, after how many hours? Thanks.

There's really no room in there for 2 or 3 more people. I wonder what will happen.

But do they let you work OT? Or limit you so you only get 40?
    Same as OTR driver.

from the way things are looking now, NOT GOOD! Got 2 very very short hauls from Macon, GA to Anderson, SC and then back to High Point. ALOT and I mean ALOT of Superior trucks were there! I thought it was a weekend, and it's only Wed.! NOT GOOD! Didn't see any Heniff trucks or tanks in HP. But I only have 400 miles for the week, so far, and now I'm getting VERY CONCERNED! I can't feed a family of 4 on that! I heard 2 guys say Heniff will start laying off drivers from SPCR to help with the coming in Heniff drivers. Who knows, application process will start shortly, this is BS! I see why drivers are jumping ship! Last year was slow, but nothing like this!!!!

I'm willing to bet $10 the 'favorites' get OT and the regular driver just gets 40!

Ya it's been pretty slow but I wasn't here last year this time so have nothing to compare it too. But the trucking business has slowed down starting in dec across the board. So don't think it's because of the merger

    yankatank and DEllis Thank this.
