The main reason I see that Schneider might be interested in Superior is for the tank washes. They have none that I know of.

I wouldn’t say the tank washes necessarily. They sold all the tank washes to quala after they had too employees die at the one in Houston. Schneider is just a weird company
meechyaboy and speedyk Thank this. -
#### that’s crazy, when did all this happen?

Like around 2012 or 13 whenever I first started driving they sold the tank washes for liability purposes is what I was told

On the first one I would imagine they'd grandfather in the existing Superior drivers on their current pay structure ( though future pay raise will probably be hard to come by ) unless they really are trying to force people out. And companies never do that . . .
As far as the second point goes, this could be the real rub b/c it has to w/ company structure and culture. While you'd think they'd be eager to adopt whichever practice works best, what will really happen is they'll adopt whichever structure the executives from the acquiring company have the most ego investment. Which is to say they'll go w/ whatever they're most familiar and comfortable with which will 99% of the time be their existing structure no matter how poorly it's actually been working. The notion that the smaller companies management team will stay on in order to aid and ease the transition is typically bunk and usually within a few years those people are either towing the line or they get turfed out.
I've been through this sort of thing more than once in the IT field and it was always a complete ego driven, chest thumping cluster-####! It's even worse the closer you are to the ground b/c you'll be afforded the least actual information until after the fact.Bud A., Gearjammin' Penguin, ncdriver1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Does anybody know how much revenue the Schneider tank division does on a yearly basis? The Freightwaves article said that superior did around 277 million dollars in revenue, was just curious how much Schneider tank division did.
