Also I've heard their trucks don't have APUs or inverters so I'm assuming they don't care if you idle particularly if you're up north in the winter or down south in the summer? -
MYSTYKRACER Thanks this.

I have yet to see it mentioned so I'll ask: Are there inverters in the trucks? I wouldn't mind putting my own microwave and at least a decent cooler in the truck so I'm not eating out all the time.

Honestly though I don't see how that's even a choice? Sleep in a real bed in a room w/ heat / ac, bathroom, tv and wifi ( probably ) on the company OR sleep in the truck w/ none of those thing for an extra $10 on the paycheck? Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to sleeping in the truck when necessary, but given a choice between the above my 49 yo joints and bladder have a clear preference.dwells40 Thanks this. -
Smut, MYSTYKRACER and dwells40 Thank this.

I only use the company hotel if my truck is in the shop or I have to wait the weekend for a load.
MYSTYKRACER, yankatank and dwells40 Thank this. -
