    That's what was reported. Must have been an expensive haul because engineers were hired to do the math on weight distribution.

    State highway 35 is a neat route. Connects Houston to Corpus Christi and hugs the Gulf coast. It goes thru the Coastal Bend bird and wild life sanctuary and swamp land. So lots of bridges. Maybe 1/4 of it’s route is on dry land and maybe only a 1/3 of it is 4 lane divided. Most is still old 2 lane. Lots of bridges have been rebuilt over the years as they were takin out by past hurricanes.
