Is the donation page a safe site? Like hackersafe?

 

maybe the owner of this web site can contact google, even some other web search engine, and see what (if any) money can be had by having a search link to this web site that we can go to with the touch of a button. i'm sure some of those search engines would appreciate more advertising to thier web site via The Trucker's Report.

 

I appreciate your opinions, yet disagree....that is why we keep donations secret and it is not done on a per member basis...we want to keep it anonymous, etc., because of those very fears...we don't want anyone to think they do have special privileges. We really appreciate the help from those that have given it as of yet as this has to be paid for somehow...it costs us a LOT of $ to keep up so the help (even $1) is very nice.

 

Well, PayPal is who we go through, and yes we ARE verified....we ONLY go through PayPal and we have no clue who it is or their info, etc....

I appreciate the idea, we have tried almost EVERYTHING (besides shoving hopping banners in your face). You find us some good advertisers and I'll look, LOL. They are hard to find for a site like this...unless I want to turn into a recruiter that is...

 

Yea, it is nice, people have been very kind and it DOES help...it is getting more and more expensive to run this and my pockets are only so deep, LOL. Well, I don't mind though, I take it all in stride as I've done it to myself, LOL.

 

This site is too important to allow recruiters to have a field day with drivers or possible newbies. It is your site, you have every right to decide what type of ads you want on here. You do not need to be swayed by oppinions...do what works for you.

 

you see tony, i'm looking at it like this, (before i am typing this particular response, i took a look at how many people have been here, or at least "the most" at a certain time).........with me so far.........??

ok, at one time, there was 596 people here, so let's go with that number.

596 people times (say the $2.00 someone mentioned) will be $1192.00 per month. then multiply that by 12 months, we get $14,304.00 for the year.

although i certainly don't know the total cost of operating this site, i can't see where its costing that much money per year to operate (but i could be wrong, but then again, why would you spend so much of your money..?). anyhow, let's go along with it's only costing you $4,000.00 per year..........what would happen to the $10,304.00 dollars.....??

i hate to think that i would be helping you to buy that new bass boat, or camper or pick-up truck.............let's be honest here, you could even "up and run" with our money, and who's to stop you..........??

i'll darned if i'm going to support someone else's spending habits as i grow poorer...........and why should anyone else...??
