LOL, yea, agreed, 2LilBoots, amazing...I have been doing this site for 4 YEARS. Anyway, thanks for the help to all of you who understand, I will not argue with naysayers as it does none of us any good...I KNOW this as that is why I started this site in the first place.

 

only a new motorcycle or pick-up truck, i got on "MY OWN" not from donations.............

and no, i'm not going to "give" as i see "favoritism" for those that do, over those that don't. if this were to be a "paid web site" it should have been from the begining.

anyone can "give" if they choose to do so, but if this site were to be "suddenly gone someday", many of you are going to wonder what happened to all that money that was donated..........not that i am actually accusing anyone of "potential wrong doings", but it does lend itself to the situation in dire straits...........

 

I believe WiseOne added the "donate" option only after several requests to do so by members. This site costs money to maintain, and we really only have two options: either offer up a bit of change periodically to keep it running or allow our boards to be plastered with pop-ups and solicitations.

It is my understanding that the donation link was not put here to necessarily encourage people to contribute, but rather to allow those who WANT to help to do so.

 

Ya...This is Ridicilous! ENOUGH SAID! If YOU don't want to give, then don't.

But don't be making up crap about people buying stuff that don't belong to the board....that is just plain stupid!!

EXACTLY, perfectly stated, thanks! I only added after many request and said well it would help me pay for the server, etc...I guess I could make it a paid site, but I don't think that would be fair to those who are poor, trying to make a start in the trucking industry, etc...they need it most, those who CAN, can...those who can't can't...simple.
