no.....see you got my inquiry wrong as well...........

i KNOW MODS DO NOT GET PAID...........

i was asking how many of the mods got to be mods.............

did you "donate" and was "crowned" mod..........??

    i wanted that ratio...........

the non donating people that became mods, as opposed to the people tha "donated" and BECAME MODS..........

    now i have 3?

    joendenise, notarps4me, luvmyhubby(?).............

maybe now its up to 5.......??

cybergal didn't "donate" and she became a mod on her own..........
    1) joendenise
    2) notarps4me
    3) luvmyhubby
    4) cybergal
    5) logsRus
now, if this is all true, it "shows" me that none of you (so far, there's another mod or 2 out there) haven't "donated" and recieved no special treatment and was "crowned" moderator/admin.

WHAT IS your problem with this??

YOU don't get it at all!!

MODS/ADMINS are chosen from their experience and there attitudes and their abilities.

    NOW...CAN YOU understand this????

If you want to know about mods. I want to know about you. What company do you work for? How much money do you make? Why haven't they fired you yet? I guess you don't go in the office prying into other people's affairs there.

I am quite PROUD of the fact that I was asked to join the team simply because Cybergal and Wiseone felt I would be a GOOD addition, I DIDNT have to buy my way into anything!

I am starting to wonder if you want to be a mod, and are mad cuz you arent, it seems to be like your asking how much you have to pay for the position......ITS NOT FOR SALE.

YOU cant put a price tag on time, effort, energy, DEDICATION and grace.

that's pretty much what i ahve been trying to ask, but so many of you are reading my questions wrong.

as i stated, I KNOW MODS ARE NOT PAID..........so drop that part.

i just wanted to know, the ratio between the people who "donated" then "suddenly" became mods, over those people who were asked to be mods on thier own merits, experiences etc.

in other words, did "donating to the web site" cause anyone to "jump to" mod status by giving money, for this special privledge........

this is why i'm against "donating" as it denotes "special privledges" to those that donate, and those that don't........

it was all so simple an inquirey.............

NO actually this is not simple....

YOUR insinuation into special treatment given for donations is still ridiculous!

Just as ridiculous as your first post on this matter.

I DO NOT suffer from old folks disease, you were insinuating that if there were any profits wiseone was gonna get a new boat/house/ run off with the money, then you started the who donated and then became a mod/admin!

YOU insulted all of us, make insinuations that were NOT called for and now you wanna make nice????

no, they are not "insinuations"........... they are "what if's"......... what if we donated the money, which from one of the posts would be about $14,300 per year. not that much money would be needed to run a web site. that leaves "about" $10,000 left over, "pre-sumining" a yearly cost of $4,000 per year to run a web site (at least this one). what would happen with all the balance money.......??

it would be tempting to go out and buy a new bass fishing boat, pick=up truck, whatever, and not "re-invest the rest of the money here". why should any of us make someone "richer" and quite possibly run away with all that money we so heartedly donated to keep the site up and running...??

its not our problem, we didn't create the web site. he did. he needs to get advertisements, which should pay for the cost of the site.
