OK, thanks. We have some friends who have cable internet, and if I need something to download in a hurry, they told me to come over any time. So the next time I get a chance, I'll go over to their house and try to get the map update. I do need to have the TND attached to the computer for the Update Maps button to work, right?

Cable internet depending on their download speed may take an hour or two. I have 30mb down and it takes about an hour.

TND is not needed to download the maps, but if you have to "clean" up an prior issue of the dock install then yes you will need it to reinstall the Dock.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I installed a 16GB, Class 10, 48MB'S Micro SD Card into my 720 and it took 3 hours to download the update and when I clicked on "transfer file" it started but ended up saying "transfer failed". Tried a second time and same thing. What gives?

Suggest you push the SD card in/out a few times.

Would need to see the Dock logs.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Let's not get personal on here. The mod's will not allow it and I don't either.

You asked for info, I don't know what info you want.

Give me a list of what questions you have about it and I will get them answered.

Some things happened that I cannot go into as to why you cannot find the info, but as stated above I will find your answers.

    Thanks,
    Mark

If the Dock does not see the SD Card, put the computer does see it as a drive, you have to rename the drive letter associated with that mounted drive.

This is not for the faint of heart since you would be in the registry. You can contact CS and they will do it for you.

RM is looking at this issue.

    Thanks,
    Mark
