Updated TND-720 still has wacky routing. Last 2 trips to San Diego and Oceanside CA coming down I-5 through Corning CA the gps routed down US-99 upon reaching Sacramento instead of staying on I-5. Anyone who has travelled this route knows 99 is a crappy route with lots of slow downs. There is no reason at all not to stay on I-5.
Routing on the Rand GPS units, since the TND-500 has been my biggest disappointment. I'm hoping some day they may get it right. We don't need shortest or fastest but we need PRACTICAL routing for 75' of truck and trailer.
Just my opinion but am sure many will agree.

This is something i learned a long time ago...if i play with all the route settings i can come up with the route i want...besides if you continue on I5 a little ways it will update to stay on 5 instead of 99..

You mean you don't have to blindly take the truck where the box in front of you tells you to go? 😲 heretic, this device is supposed to do my thinking for me.... (/sarcasm in case you couldn't tell)
