True, the Wilco Hess website doesn't show anything at all in Alabama, but Google Earth shows the lot across the road from Jack's has been cleared off as of November 2013, and the very beginning of construction of a building. Street level (May 2014) shows the Wilco Hess still under construction but the building has mostly been completed. So those are two different businesses. Hubby also saw signs advertising Jack's. Just trying to get the next update as up-to-date as possible.....

 

They dont update these things on the fly...it takes months of preparation and verification...

If you know where something is that you think should be on the unit you can make a personal point of interest...

 

Probably hit that reset button a dozen times today...GPS has picked up a couple of times in the last few minutes, will road test tomorrow...turned tablet off and back on and launcher was back in place, with the new button choices on bottom...thanks Mark

 

Thanks Mark for all your one on one help getting my 520 update figured out. It seems to running fine. However I don't like something already it's the full white screen with the text warnings. Can i stop those because I think they stay on too long as I get nervous when I can't see the map, even for 5 seconds. I can live with the spilt screen but in reality as a local driver only I really don't need zoomed in exit and ramps view either. I probably would like that if I traveled strange roads everyday but there's not too much to get scared about in my home town when approaching a ramp.

 

Yes...speedway bought wilco except for the ones in virginia...all the ones in virginia are now pilots which i like because it gives me more places to shower on 81..

The new maps are marking the section of Hwy 30 in Wyoming right near the flying J there as a over weight limit road, All of this stretch of US 30 is truck able. Figured I would point this out to you as I have no idea where to submit it to get it fixed. It wont even route you that way now due to the limit it thinks it has a on a bridge.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this to be rectified. I'm sure the current map set is probably at least a year old anyways LOL.
