Support Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products. (part two)

I did not have this problem before the update. If there was a road I did not want to take , I could detour that road. Another example is Demotte, IN. to Mauston, WI. Route given I-65 to I-90/Skyway to I-90/39. When I go to detour or temporary avoid I-90/Skyway it recalculates the route and still routes up I-90/Skyway. Before the update Icould detour it and get it to route up I-294.

 

My 720 doesn't seem to have any files on it and it won't connect to the dock for me to be able to fix it. If you have the Os to fix it, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

 

I don't remember if this was an issue or not on 3322, but it has been fixed.

One other issue to note,, if your TND shows as a "Removable Disk", just rename it to Intellirout and the Dock should start the maps download.

If you get a small popup saying corrupted disk, it might be the computer. I have seen this once before and in working with kpsingh I am seeing it again. IF you get this small popup window try using another computer for updates.

Is there a way to find out what is/was updated/fixed when the truck GPS app is updated on the tablet? Can't seem to find out unlike the RM Dock software which can give you that information for the TND GPS units.

No updates on the dock, so I called RM tech support. They told me they are aware of the issue with the detour function and are working on a fix for it.

 

Fix is done. QA has it for testing.

My second week on my new refurbished 530. Today I got about 5 blocks away from my stop and the screen goes white. Couldn't turn it off, unplugged it and still white screen. Got on my phone and used the gps to get me to my stop. About an hour later the screen goes dark/turns off. I press the button and it start back up and work the rest of the day! What could it be?
