I am taking it that you did the map download also? Speaker is hardware, unless the new files failed to copy over. From the issues you are having it seems you had some bad file downloads.. Did you do this across Wi-Fi?

You might want to contact RM support and let them remote into your 520 and see the files on the 520.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    510 - software.

530 - if screen is not responding that is hardware. I have not heard much about the screen stopping to respond. I would contact RM support about this.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Make sure the SD Card is formatted Fat 32. Copy all the folder/files off of it to your desktop and then format it Fat 32 then move the NaviMaps back to the SD Card.

If it says corrupted device, then chances are your computer wiped the SD Card. I have seen several computers corrupt the file structure of the SD Card. I don't know why.

Birmingham, AL, I know of this issue, nothing in the map data is there to force you onto the route around this city.

Haz-Mat routes. It should not clear the route, I will have to test this. But, yes it will warn you of a HazMat violation, but with a red bar at the bottom which you can dismiss.

    Thanks,
    mark

    Hi every one.
Does anyone know the part number or specs for the battery in a TND 720?
mine is out of warranty and the battery has swollen to the point of pushing on the back of the screen.
If I could find one that would work I can replace it.
    Thanks A.J.

Ok, so I will try formatting the Micro SD card, gotta find an adaptor that will allow me to use it in the SD slot on my laptop. Thanks, Mark.

Your micro sd should have come with an adapter that will plug into your laptop. Every micro sd card I have ever bought came with a full sd card size adapter.

What size SD card is recommended for the updated maps on the 720?

Is an 8gb card big enough or should I future proof it with a 16gb?

Does anyone know of a fix for TND520 for touch screen calibration? Each time I shut it off or the battery drains I have to recalibrate the touch screen.

If you take the back off you should see the numbers on the battery. Have you contacted RM support to see what the cost is for a battery replacement for an OOW TND?

    Thanks,
    Mark
