That is a lot less then I had anticipated, was expecting more like 2-3x that.
Thanks for the rapid reply sir.

On my 720 on really bumpy roads.
The Light next to the power button flashes green/red a lot.
    Obviously out of warranty.
Do I need to look at buying new one soon or is there an easy fix.

Is the power cable wrapped around the bracket or hanging loose? It not wrapped it could be pulling at the Power connector when you hit the bumps.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Same thing with mine. The connector is flakey. I switched to the USB cable that came with the unit and bought an adapter. Works perfectly.

You need to watch the Adapters, if they do not supply 5vdc @2amps, you will run into issues such as black screen, lines in screen, etc since it is not getting the full current load.

You always can lightly squeeze the flat section of the USB end of the DC cord to give it a more snug fit.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have actually had several issues like this and found the lighter plug end to be the culprit so anywhere I plug in whether it be just to the lighter plug or to a 3 way box I cut off the tines on a plastic fork and jam at least 2 of them along side of the plug, has always fixed the problem and has kept the power connection nice and tight even on very rough roads.
This is in regards to post #2303

Hi Mark, my 530 freezes occasionally from 1-3 times a day and i have to reset it to get it going again. I am fully updated as of a couple weeks ago. Is this a known issue for this model and is something being done about it? Thanks

Same thing I did... I find Wendy's work the best.

    Thanks,

Yes,, RM has been working on this issue. Believe me we are hot on it. This is all I have been testing the last few weeks.

It is a deep bug code issue and very hard to duplicate or track down.

It seems to affect the 530/730 more than the 520/720.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Yes it is.
Did that when I first got it.

It is getting quite a bit worse to.
Plug in the unit bad or the lighter plug?
