Are there any release notes available for the T80 1.0.28.3791 update?

    @Mark Kling
For the 730 and 530 why does the screen zoom all the way out to 500-2000ft in the air no matter how many times i zoom in?

I cant possibly imagine this is a special feature. Its a glitch right?

Tap on Main Menu / then Preferences / then Map / then Map Auto Zoom.

    What setting is yours on?

Odd... have you called RM CS? If you are at MATS we will have a support booth there.

    Thanks,
    Mark

You can buy several different types of mounts to do this. Ram, Bracketron, and a CA disk. But if you use the CA it does not come off easy so if it is a company truck you might ruin the dash.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Mark on the 760 Issue , it is really not a cable issue. Yes the cables will not connect to the new OBD 2 but the unit itself will not read the higher 500K that the new trucks are putting out.) the unit makes a bunch of lights go on the dash and drops a couple gauges down to the bottom. One of their techs actually told me that I could splice it to the wires behind the fuse box but couldn't provide a schematic of how that should be done.
That would have been the absolute worse thing to do and I could t believe they suggested it.

    Hey Mark,

First off let me say thanks for helping all these people on here.

Hopefully you can assist me with my issue as well.

I have a tnd 720 w/ the 4gig map update, has been running great for 3 years.

I recently updated it today (03/20/16) and when it boots up, it gives me the "serious navi error" message and times out on loading. ("Gave up waiting for main navigation engine"

Now I took the the SD card out to see if it would boot up without it and it did.

Powered it off, reinserted the card then powered it back on.

Same navi error preventing boot up, everytime.

I ran the diagnostic & repair on the dock app, it repaired some files.

after that i tried the boot it, same navi error,.

But again, removing the SD card, the unit boots.

So I'm guessing the data on the SD card is corrupt but I can't find where I can redownload it on the dock app. it says my unit is up to date, even when I removed the data from the SD card and put a clean one back in the unit. But I copied that data to my desktop just in case.

Any light you can shine on this for me will be well recieved, I love my 720, it's been a real trooper and would hate to go back to using the vanilia version

**Update** After Uninstalling the dock software and reinstalling it to a different drive, the map update button showed up on the new dock install.

The device boots properly now with no problems.
