1st thanks for the help moving the address book from my old tnd720 to my new 720. Works great.

Next question i have a friend that just found a new in the sealed box combo tnd730lm and the 300 dash cam. Now as we run the same customers can I do the same thing and copy my address book from my 720 to his 730. I would think so I just want to check

 

Yes it will be in the same folder location.

I have a new tnd 80 version 4.55.4026_T8X 214535 Navi date 2016 12 06

when attempting to route myself from (as an example) TA Youngstown #058 to TA Lakestation Indiana; I will receive the following error:
Routing Problem
"no legal route could be found. ... truck info needs to be changed".

Then it erases the route from the map.

I switched the settings to car/light truck and still receive the same error.

I tried coordinate data to a shipping location I go to often (41.845308 -87.675516) and receive the same error.

It seems like every address I enter will give the same error no matter the destination.


Other than cycling powe I am at a loss.

I don't understand what is going on with the unit. Oh, it stays plugged into ac all the time and I don't use anything on it other than the GPS software.

 

Sounds like bad map files. PM me so I can send you a file and instructions on how to get the maps to download again.

I just purchased a 730. When I plug it in, it shows being connected on the 730, and shows on my laptop as recognized. But the dock doesn't pick it up. I've tried multiple USB ports with the same results. I then tried deleting the program and reinstalling it, but it won't start the installation process because it says it's not connected. Any ideas? I tried callin tech support, but apparently Presidents' Day is a holiday for them.

 

You disable any Antivirus programs? The Dock will not install if one is active.

If the computer sees it as another drive and the Dock will not install, then you have a program that is safeguarding your computer that needs to be disabled during install.

The last 3-4 days my weather is displaying wrong data. Displays 20° when in fact it's 60 out. The current day high and lows are -1764°. It seems the map overlays are ok just the numbers on the main screen.

I have the tablet.

 

Humm... that is coming from the internet and the RM server... I will ask them..

What does it show if you go to the weather tab ?
