Main screen/settings (cog bottom left)/Route/Turn Announcements/right side - bottom - unclick the "Chime Tone On".

    Thanks,
    Mark

But that silence all of the chimes and dings?
I don't want to silence everything just this one odd thing that I can figure out why it's chiming.
It chimes when I'm sitting in the parking lot with the truck off! Did it last night, twice @ 45 min apart. I was just sitting there watching tv. I finally just turned it off.
    Why is it chiming?

I have had mine running for 3 days and it has not made any noise... it might be the low battery warning.

    Thanks,
    Mark

No its not a low battery. mine its sitting on its dock in the truck and the dock is plugged in, so the battery is fully charged.

And i looked and could not find anything that said CHIME on/off - just the volume button on top

Yes i did. there is nothing in there on the 740 for "Chimes"
I called Support and we thing we got it. it was either the chime for the bluetooth looking to connect , i turned that off, or the chime that its "Charging" which is now also off.
So far haven't heard it in @ 8 hrs. thats a record.
They showed me how to get into the extended settings on the 740, nice.

I have mine charging and I don't hear a chime. Mine is connect to Wi-Fi, but I will try BT...

On the main screen, bottom left, tap the Gear (Cog), Tap on Route tab, tap on turn announcements, on right side bottom is a box and it says Chime Tone On, tap to uncheck.

This is the Chime you hear when you make turns...

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hey Mark,

I'm home for the weekend and left the GPS in the truck so I can't do the tell rand thing.

The 740 routes me onto I-894 South towards Chicago in Milwaukee while on I-94w. The ramp to 894 had been closed for a year or 2 now due to construction. I don't think it'll open until next year. I'm surprised HERE doesn't have that in the maps so I'm letting you know.

There's a bunch of closures to 894 on local roads but I don't have that list available.
