I been looking to get the new 740 or that overdryve thing.

The traffic don't come with a receiver like garmin. You must use your hotspot for traffic?

Where do you guys get the traffic from?

For me the traffic feature is not a deal breaker..

Google traffic is very good and free and only use it when i am coming into known high traffic areas. As far as being rerouted i have found you are better off waiting for it to clear up than taking a detour.

I am really wanting it for the new maps and speed. My 720 works great but like me it is very slow.
I hope the 740 will be my last gps since i will be retiring in 5 years.

you must use a hotspot for traffic on the 740. which ends up being about the same data usage as if your running goggle traffic for the same time. the difference i can see being that the 740 SHOULD reroute you down a truck route where as Google will offer another route but its for cars, so unless you know the area its a guess as to whether or not you will make it.
and as for rerouting, sometime waiting is better, but now with the ELDs, can we afford to wait?? and in a lot of areas, 2 lane roads can be quicker than a stand still on the interstate. So.....
BUT the Live traffic needs to work right in the first place..

    Hey Mark,
I'm looking to sell my 8 inch tablet, and get a new OverDryve 8 Pro when it comes out.
I want to keep my truck settings, old mileage, and address book, and transfer it to the new device, but, at the same time, I want to sell the TND T80 in the out of the box state.
So, what files do I need to copy from T80 to my computer, and what files do I need to erase on T80, so it's in the "Out of the box" condition?

    Thanks

Loves in Cumberland Maryland is the only place I've found the OverDryve. Is there a list of pfj stores anywhere that currently have it in stock?

try online - Best buy or Amazon?? you will probably get a better price anyway. I bought my 740 online and then bought a Square Trade 2 yr Warranty. @ $50 cheaper total then the truck stop.
