You need to lighten up on Mark man.....

He is a very good guy and does a lot to help us on his own time.

You may not be happy with 5 years use of a gps that you use everyday for 10 to 14 hours a day but i think it is a very good deal.

I have to replace my hvac unit about every 10 years and trust me that is a lot more than $400.

 

stop buying HVAC units made in China..???

he could have handled it better than to say.."ENOUGH".

to me, rudeness gets no where.

 

i sent Rand a nice little email on him and his ENOUGH comment.

 

people that represent a company, (even as a beta tester) should be POLITE, not rude.

i had no motives, he caused it to happen.

Wrong. The only thing that is supported are security updates after the OS is deemed obsolete and only for 2 yrs after that, no enhancements or new features are supported. So as the GPS units don't need security updates they are not supported due to the hardware and software not being able to run the new features

 

but you don't necessarily have to go out and buy a new pc, not even the OS if you don't want to, when the support runs out. you can get drivers online from the makers, or other sites that have them..a good antivirus program can take care of security matters.

had pc's since 1995, no one can say i don't know much 'bout'em
