Well I have used TeamViewer since 2009. It allows me to "control" you PC and move around as if you were doing it yourself. Remote programs are common placed. You can set your home PC to remote and you can log in from on the road to see your PC. The only thing is you have to click on personal use which is free, other wise you pay $$ for a license. Rand uses another type of Remote Program and they are a business so they are required to buy a license.

What I do is look at the 510 files, fix or replace them as the remote viewing allows me to move files from my PC to yours, and make sure the Dock is working. My work is free. But I am letting you know since your unit is old they may not have the files to rebuild it if needed..

I have no desire to know what is on your computer. I have remoted in where the whole screen was folders full of porn... that is the users computer. I will not tolerate anything showing in plain view that is illegal. For that I have no tolerance.

The comment "flambasing" is a general use term directed to all, not to anyone. It simply means in my terms to get the thread back on track.

This is your post... You are not "Flagrantly" surrendering your PC to me. You if you are sitting in front of your computer see every move I do or make.

Your reply was in response to "msjs91011 said", not at Mark Kling, so I look at that as a conversation to another person, not directed to me. Kind of like evesdropping.

    Thanks,
    Mark

@buddyd157 Do you wish my help or not? If yes, then send me a "conversation".

I can look at folders and files faster since I know what is needed where, instead of you trying to tell me.

Very few TND's have gone to the graveyard when I work on them.

    Thanks,
    Mark

i told you i will not install a program i know nothing about. i told you i want no one in my pc

i told you that i already got the numbers to call on monday morning

i told you these things WAY earlier today.

maybe in the end, don't be rude to people that have valid questions and ask for help and say...ENOUGH...????

You told another poster, not me... It was posted, but not directed to me.

Here is some reading to bring you up to speed on Remote Programs. BTW, did you know that MS puts a control in on your PC that will allow remoting without installing a program??? But, I don't use it because it is not as flexible as others.

And Teamviewer is ranked #1 out of the 16 free programs.

@buddyd157, if you notice in my signature line I work for Rand, I am level 5 support not CS support which is level 1.

May I suggest that buddy needs more help than you are qualified to provide Mark.

Perhaps it is time to block him and move on to customers who actually want your help.

Holy Crap Mark why are you wasting your time with that Knucklehead, you have nothing to prove to the rest of us, we know how good you are with these units and have always helped people out but this guy is living in the dark ages and thrives on conspiracy theories. I have met guys like this on the road and they have a mind set that can't be changed, so Let It Go and let him stumble through the world in his own reality.
Don't get caught up in his nonsense as I don't think you can win this one.

I'm just wondering why @Mark Kling keeps trying to help someone who doesn't want his help, while I'm still waiting on issues I described in post # 3798 & 3804 to be addressed.
