    Yes the x40's do update via a Hot Spot. You have to connect to a Hot Spot that does not have a website first like a Hotel or truck stop. The x40 does not have browser capability.

    For the most part the truck speed of "55" is not in the Map Database. Yes, I know they are different than the cars. But, CA has not reported them to HERE for what roads that are affected. The same for OR and WA.

    I have to check on the alerts and advisories.

    Traffic is being looked at on the x40's.

    Probably a 710-xxxxxx-El. Is the outside edges smooth or ruggedized?

    Not ELD compatible for either... Who told you it would?
