I think the better way would be to get maps from google and adapt them to work with truck routes. I don't think the other suppliers have much incentive to update the maps very often, at least that's the way it seems. Just my opinion as I have been using the TND's since the 700 model and in certain areas map info is a lot older than 2 yrs.

Iirc the app froze near the Ohio/Indiana border on i70 east. This was the first time. It froze yesterday on I 95 north in Maine heading towards Lewiston. I can't recall where I was for the other times it froze.

Sounds like a 710 - Not ELD compatible.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Soo I thought maybe some maps were corrupted but I was parked and going through the menus to start a new trip and it froze on me again. This time in Massachusetts on US 24 maybe 30 miles south of Boston. I manned up and did the GPS repair but it didn't come up with anything broken.

My 740 is still going back to screen saver - seems like when i hit bumps???
It has popped off several time in the past few weeks and fell on floor, i checked the back, looks clean and undamaged.
    but this is annoying
