Normally this tells me that the Dock is not seeing your unit. It does not know what you have.

Does the computer see the unit as an external drive?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Thank you Mark for your quick response. Now I was talking to a RM technical support. We tried to make a reboot( volume up+down+ home button, and another way all four button at the same time), but nothing happened. . I have high speed internet now but I don't have any software for recovery. Sould I install some program for assistance? I'm ready any time

You are right, nothing will happen.. You have done a factory reset, so technically you have taken the RM Launcher, RM Services, Truck GPS App, and Toll Cost back to OS flash versions. Will the tablet get to the main screen?

If Not, then I will probably have you ship it to me so I can do an OS flash again on it and then update it.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The TA is here - 36.014537, -86.620437.. I looked several miles before and after and I don't see a low crossing... can you narrow down?

Looks like the Bridge is on the Maps now..

    Thanks,
    Mark

NOTE - I am going in for my yearly shot this afternoon. I will be off the radar and on the couch for 2-3 days. I hopefully can respond by Saturday afternoon to inquiries.

Since the TNDT 70/80/80B will be getting an OTA (OS Flash) and Map update I am sure there will be a few.

Please note also,, once the OTA is done, the update screens will mirror the x40/OD screens. The updates will be done in the background once you do the download. It is a 4.2gb download on the maps...so HIGH SPEED internet is suggested.

If any questions feel free to post here or to contact Customer Support,,,,, DO NOT DO a factory reset if you run into an issue. This will require more work to unfix the issue you are having.

If during the download internet is interrupted, you have 12 hours to reestablish the connection. It will pick up where it left off... after 12 hours the download will cancel and you will have to start the complete download again. Do not drive and download...

Once the OTA (OS Flash) has started, let it finish.

I will post the FAQ for the OTA as soon as Rand posts it on their Website.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Forgot to mention for the TNDT 70/80/80B you have to have your tablet registered to receive the updates. If you are using it and bypassed registration let me know.

ADDED - Make sure you have at least 4.7 or 4.8 gb available space. Settings/storage - scroll up and should be showing how much available.

Delete anything in the .root/lost.dir folder
If still not enough let me know

    x40/OD updates will come later.

x20 - don't know yet if RM will release since Software/Maps are updated.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The OTA update for the TNDT70/80/80B...

Highly suggested you back up your user data first.

Main Screen/9 squares upper right/File Manager/Bottom right 3 dots/Settings/2nd down, click to enable Show Hidden Files and Folders.

Connect to the computer, find the external drive from your explore window.

    copy to your desktop

    .navi/user (folder)
    .navi/rm (folder)

Just in case your OTA (OS Flash) fails or does not install properly you will still have all your user files.

    Thanks,
    Mark
