The POI's are separated for the Pilot and Flying J since RM makes an RV model the RV's mostly stay at Flying J's, so the search is broken into the two. This allows an RV to have only Flying J's show and not Pilots. The common screens between the RV and the TND are the same..

All truck stops should show number amounts of parking spaces, & showers in details tab...not hard to find out since all the majors list them on their respective phone apps.

The Truck Stops POI's are supplied by a 3rd party. It has been requested that the number shows instead of S/M/L/XL.

Number of washers & dryers would be excellent as well to know if it is even worth stopping to do laundry at any time but the dead zones.

All truck POI's should have the details tab selectable when selecting from any screen, not just certain searches.

I will bring that suggest to RM.

All truck POI's should have exit numbers and/or Mile marker (REST AREAS!!!) listings in their details since the mile marker tab goes away as soon as you exit road.

I can suggest RM forward that to the POI provider.

Construction updates should include rest areas that are closed permanently or for renovation & should show as unavailable on searches.
Rest areas that do not have bathrooms are not restful, should be designated as Parking areas in searches so as not to have to select & go to detail tab to find out.

Construction updates are for roads only. Construction updates are for long term projects. Rest Areas are not included in the source data. If a rest area is closed permanently, submit a Tell Rand or mention here so the POI DB can be updated. Rest Area's and Parking Area's fall under the same DB, so the details was added to show what is available.

Searching for rest areas along route still gives me results in both my intended direction, & also the opposite direction for some reason even though most rest areas have no cross over to opposite side, only the rare center shared areas.

Search along route also entails a certain distance on each side of your route. This is why you see both sides. If you picked on route and only wanted your direction of travel, what about those truck stops on the opposite side of your direction and .5 miles from the route?

Weigh stations should have restroom & 24hr safe haven parking information in details, & the ones that have 24hr parking should show up on rest area searches with their respective amount of parking spaces.

Weigh Stations and Rest Areas are two different POI DB's. The Data you wish to include in the details is not provided by the source.

Separate Blue Beacon quick POI search.

If RM did that then we would have to include every POI out in the system for their own quick search. The major Quick Searches are the most common POI's used. You can access Blue Beacon website or go to POI-Factory to download a Custom POI strictly for Blue Beacons.

Visual timezone boundary grid.

Map would become more cluttered. State lines are on the map. If Time Zone boundaries were added then someone would want County lines also. RM supplies the most needed information on the map screen. If you click on the "green" speed you will see Yard/Local/Dest/ETA on the left side on the top on the Dashboard. This will show you want time zone you are in.

Local time should be on top banner next to the ETA or at least have a solid background behind it, instead of being hard to see at times with the map background behind it. Plenty of room to the left of top right eta box...

This started out as a debug tool and was just left in due to drivers liking it. You can click on the "green" speed to go to the Dashboard to see the given times.

should be able to select more than only 1 info-cessory at once, I want my ETA to 90 (both the calender date AND time), the miles remaining, my current elevation, & local time zone with current time, all on the main screen at once.

This is all shown on the Dashboard, click on the "green" speed limit icon on the map screen, left side on the edge towards the bottom.

Mine doesn't even show S/M/L/XL -- just "overnight parking." That can be 5 spots or 500...

Hello Mark:
Again, I thank you for the time and information you give this forum. You are a huge asset to RM. IMO, what you do here is the best advertising RM could have. I hope RM gives you credit, both monetary and otherwise for the your service.

I noticed that also yesterday. They used to have a size shown. I will bring that up to RM how important that information is.

Try menu>preferences>map>truck poi icons > select icons to display

If you have 530/730 the see post 476 for a screen shot of post 488. If you have a prior model the ability is not there yet to shut off certain POI's for the truck.

Thanks Mark, it is indeed the previous model. Perhaps you could let someone know that I pretty much only see Cat Scale symbols instead of truck stops. I look forward to an update!
