When you buy the TND you are getting what is the latest technology and information available at that time. Map data will never be 100% correct. Maps are being updated daily from new items and old items that are incorrect.

Based upon your settings and what is put in the map segments the TND will route you. Any GPS cannot think like a human being and see what you see. It has to go based upon what your settings are and what is available in the segments of the map Database.
If you set to Prefer Freeways, it will do its best to keep you on Freeways. If you decide to take a US route along the way it will try to put you back on Freeways. As I mentioned in the post above Roads are build into segments with "cost" factors that will determine the priority of routing. If you find one that is not routing the way you think it should let me know. I can have the GIS department look at the segments and tell me how the segments are build.
The router also has to be tweaked to routing overall. If it is tweaked to the West coast then other areas will suffer in routing. So a happy medium has to be set.

Whenever I get an address, I program it in my GPS. after arriving, and making sure the GPS location is the actual location I want logged, or remembered, I edit the entry, from the address of the business, to the name of the business. It's the name of the business that is not coming up in alphabetical order. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Okay, I see that here. I will forward that up.

Appreciate that Mark. Have a good day.

I noticed that awhile back and thought it was fixed. Good catch on your part.
Thanks,

It is a few miles different. I submitted a ticket to GIS and should have an answer this week.
Thanks,

Good stuff, perhaps it will lead to a underlying issue that can be fixed, I would assume the zip code difference would be the cause? But I didn't look to much into it.

An address is by Lat/Long that is in the DB.
Thanks,

My concern is that it's that the wrong (local, not yard) time on my screen. If I can't show yard time, can I get rid of the clock from the map screen all together?
