    Mark

Seeing as I can't connect to my pc and therefore unable to use the docking software due to a bad usb port is it possible to use an sd card to download updates, new maps when available and do D/R. Unit still charges (TND-720) just fine for now but needs to be diagnosed as it's doing some weird things on roads that have been good in the past, so probably have some corrupted files.

    Thanks
    John

Highway 40, Oklahoma, east bound exit 140 offramp has been reconstructed and the map hasn't updated.

I think so. Old one says to go past the bridge, take the exit and loop back.

Not sure if I'm posting in the right spot or not. I had a rand McNally and had lots of problems. A guy came on here and talked me thru them. It must have just been a lemon. Sent it in a couple times and they couldn't fix it, so they sent me a new one. Which worked great. Had it a year and a half or so. Now tonight, I was putting a new address in, and it made a loud continuous squeezing sound. Like a microwave that wouldn't shut up. I unplugged it and waited a half hour and it won't come on at all. So will the guy who troubleshoots for rand McNally offer me any advice? Thanks!

So, here's my RM mistake of the week. ;)

Coming from Mckinney Texas to Denton airport, it had me take US 380 to US 77 south to north I 35 e. Now.. when you get to 35 e, the arrows on the map are directing you to go north on i35 east, however the sign it shows and the voice tells you to take i35 south...

Luckily I knew which direction I needed to go, because my gps was confused. .

    Mark
