trying to be polite here... i met Mark at GATS last year, he and the other techs looked at my 720 and quickly swapped it out for a working unit while apologizing for my problems. Mark has also on his OWN time late at night connected to one of my units to fix issues. i hear CR England is now putting gps units in their trucks. sounds like a perfect answer to your issues.

    Just now?
A lot of companies already have Qualcomm Units and the newer ones already have Navigation

I think they have to pay for it, but don't know that part of it.
    It was enabled/working at Swift
    It's total junk though.

This has been fixed. It should be on the next version. I am not sure what version will be pushed with the new maps at this time or if they will stay with 3322.

    Thanks,
    Mark

*Grinning* That other guy is just taking another jab after a mod already said to stop. But he's trying to be "polite".

Mark, I'm sorry I called you a tool it was out of frustration.

    Mark,

I have a TND 720 and haul gas and diesel (transport tanker) and a couple of times, my GPS routed me thru residential neighborhoods by means of "shortest or fastest" route calculation (setting made no difference which way I set it).

My question is can I tell the 720 I am hauling HAZMAT and NOT route me thru residential neighborhoods?

    Thanks in advance.

    Mike

I have taken a lot of brow beating since starting on TTR, I usually don't take anything personally on this site as I know the level of frustration a driver faces daily. I drove OTR for 4 different companies for 3 years. I am trying to take support for the RM TND line of products to a different level by providing you the user another means of support no matter what day of the week or what time. Yes, you read that right.

I can resolve some issues and some issues I cannot resolve as they are out of my pay grade. Those I cannot resolve I try to find another solution if possible.

I have been with the TND since the first prototype back in 2008.

So long as you post your issues and try not to make it personal I don't have any issues working with you on this site or offline be it via E-Mail, remoting into your computer to see the TND, in person (if around my area), or by phone.

    Thanks,
    Mark

If you did and it routed you wrong, let me know where, street/city/state.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I did have it set to flammable liquids and in the truck mode. Starting a new fuel transport job tomorrow. I'll download the latest updates and try the TND 720 out on my new job and let you know.

    Thanks again Mark.
