Well it's either Valentine's Day or April Fools LOL

Does anybody know how to use multiple TND devices on the Rand McNally Dock?
I have a 730 synced on the dock but since bought a 530 for my pickup truck (Hot Shot), when I pluged the 530 into the dock it recognized it as the 730. I want to update the 530, load the address book from the 730 onto the 530 and obviously get the traffic add on. How do I keep two separate profiles for different devices on the Rand McNally Dock? -
As long as the two units are separately registered then the Dock would pick up the one that is currently plugged into your computer. I had at one time a 500 and 720 and it would just show me the one that was plugged in and update that one.

If you are getting that, on the Dock, make sure on the top the right hand side shows a green line from the Dock to the device. If it is not green then the Dock would have told you that it is loading the data from the last connected device.
Thanks,

I bought a 730, to replace my 720, and I'm greeted with this.
It happens about twice every hour.
I can replace it, but I paid for Traffic subscription, and from what I understand, it's not transferable to the new unit
So, do I replace it, and loose $20 for traffic, or is this fixable?
Also, since I posted this, there are couple more issues..
First, it keeps connecting and disconnecting from computer (fully charged), USB cable from the box, original Rand cable...
Second, routing issues...I was at the CA-NV border, heading for Port Huron, MI - Sarnia, ON border (Blue Water Bridge) and it decided I have six miles to the border....

Do you get this if you are not running traffic, weather, or fuel?
Odd on the mileage..
Is there a way you could send me your Navi/logs?
As far as the issue of not staying connected, what kind of computer do you have? If a newer 64bit/win 7 or win 8, they limit the power to the USB Ports. You can make sure your computer is set to high power in the power settings and also try connecting the 730 (on) to the computer and then turn the computer on.
More drastic means might be to disassociate the Drive letters from the ports and then let them reassign. This is done in the registry.
Thanks,
Mark
