That was how I finally got it to work. I set my origin at Eglin and routed to my actual origin and it worked. Then I returned it to my actual GPS position and it found a route to Eglin. Mid trip I searched and rerouted to a truckstop or something and when I went to return to the route going to Eglin it couldn't find it again.
The route going from the west into eglin seems to be the only blind spot it has. It found the route out of Dallas but had the red banner at the bottom saying through truck routing not advised.
I'll update the TND. I hate to do it because it seems like it starts messing up after I update via the dock.

Just updated and still have the problem. I'm sitting at the TA in Sparks ,NV and it won't find a route to Eglin Air Force Base, Eglin Air Force Base,FL (thats how it's listed). It brings up a screen ,shortly after pressing the button to route there, that says no legal route for a Car or truck can be found and there are no road connections.

Sorry, lost me at the T5B and T5C, I'm assuming these are successive models. I guess all I really need to know is if I am running current Mac Software (OSX 10.6.6) and I get a new TND 710, will the two play nice together?

Mine routed from from Sparks, if you check on your TND, under the folder NaviMaps. what are the file dates of the DCA's?

    Thanks,
    mark

I was on the big road with a OS
That turn on the exit is to sharp when I'm long and heavy without busting tires.
I shouted on the raido but I guess you were busy

When you look for POIs (Travel Centers) along your route, is there any way to get it to sort them by distance, or in the order you would pass them? It seems so random the way it lists them.

Does the computer show device not recognized?
Their should be a file called naviInfo in the root of the TND if you look at it when it is connected. The TND acts like an external drive..
    Thanks,
    mark
