    always had to remove dock from computer an reinstall itbut now when i hook it up an it show the maps an f files it doesnt have the install tnd dock anymore

    You should not have to keep reinstalling the TND Dock. It sounds like a bad download the first time. Why are you having to uninstall the TND Dock?

    You can install the TND Dock from the Rand web page.

    Try the link and install the TND Dock. Make sure you have net Framework 3.5 at the min.

    you can go to control panel, uninstall programs and scroll down and see if you have net framework installed. If not go to microsoft and search for net framework 4.0 install.

    that was the only way i could ever get unit to connect with dock. if i did't it would not reconize it

    Look under C:\logs and send me (E-Mail) the logs for today..

    Also, need to know what OS you have on your laptop.

    Open an E-Mail, hit the attachment button, a directory window will pop up. go to C:\log folder and just double click on the files to attach to the E-Mail. Send me all the files.

    DCA file dates are all 11-8-2010

    and now since I had it connected I went ahead and tried to update it again and now it says my user.ini file is unreadable and I should run chkdsk on it. I did and it came back nothing was wrong. Tnd still turned back on, so I don't know if there is more that needs to be done? I still have those memory cards that RM sent out to update the units but haven't used them since I sent the unit back to RM and they updated it.
