It backs up your Navi/user and RM/User folders only. The complete backup copy's over the entire file/folder structure...

    Thanks,
    Mark

E-Mail me with your name, address, phone number and the serial number off the back of the TND... I will forward up to Rand and they will contact you.

    Thanks,
    mark

Unfortunately for us you have missed my point entirely. No where did I ever state I thought the unit was an actual EOBR.

I understand that, but the general feeling amongst drivers is DOT will use the TND against them and their logs. The TND is a tool only and the HOS are not tamper proof, thereby not in line to be qualified as an EOBR.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Sent you the logs and answered the questions you asked. Any info on this problem? I was assuming that you were looking into this.

I put feelers out to the testers and they have not seen this come up... How often do you get this?

BTW.. new version for the 510/710 is 1968.

I am thinking a corrupted file...

    Thanks,
    mark

Ok, so if you understand my point and there is a general "feeling" that it can be used against the driver. Why does it remain?

Mark, understand something here please. DOT is King on the side of the road, what they say goes... In other words, at their whim, I may get the ticket. Not too many truckers have the time or resources to back track 6 states to show up for a court date to fight a violation, even if theyre sure theyll win. A simple "off" for this feature is all I am looking for.
