Rand has currently 7 Models. When you find an issue or something does not seem to be working please give me the serial number off the back (bottom right) and the version number you are on.
main screen/preferences/device/about - upper right.
This will allow me to set a TND to what you are running and on the same model to try to duplicate. If I can duplicate then I can also check on the Beta Version to see if it has been fixed or not.
thanks,
Mark

Mark,
One of my TD 700's is having a problem powering up. The charger wire is hard to deal with and loses power sometime but the red light is on and the unit wont power back up. The driver says it feels like the power button is not working correctly? What can we do to correct this asap? I use the TND to record mileage for IFTA...
Thanks,
Stan

Thanks,
MarkCoronaDon Thanks this. -
I bought the 710 in October. The power button on the first one pushed down and wouldnt come back up in the first 2 days, they sent a replacement. The speaker failed on the second one within 6 months, they sent a replacement. The power button on that one just did the same as the first one. I have to ship it back wait another ten days or so to get another refurbished one. I asked what happens when the warranty expires; do I have to start paying for additional replacement unit since these things keep failing? They said after the warranty expires I have no choices but to buy a new one, they don't deal with them after the one year period.
I am very careful with it, it's not treated roughly, I actually handle it with great care, it doesnt matter there JUNK. Don't waste money unless you plan on never using it. I'm pretty sure then it may last past the warranty period, but not much.
What a waste of money... -
Thanks,
Mark
