Let me think about this one. Trying to find a easy way for your trips. Do you make the same trips more than one going to the same places?

    Thanks,

Mine does this too. I use my GPS to keep track of my logbook mileage for the day, and it creates a bit of a hassle when it doesn't reset.

What I found is that, after resetting the timers, go back to the map screen before shutting down the unit. It does not totally fix the issue, but it will do it much less often.

Also, with my TND700 now asking me if I am loaded/unloaded, I am wondering where this information goes? I can not seem to find anywhere in the unit where this is recorded anywhere, although I'd have to assume it does since it is asking for it. Currently have it turned off, since I personally have no use for it, but it made me curious as to what was being done with it.

After you reset the timers, wait 30 seconds before powering off. The software polls the settings, but some of them are not as soon as you change the setting.

Truck Info/timers and logs/logs - you can keep track of load/unloaded in the mileage now for tax purposes.

    Thanks,
    Mark

ok here is a small problem I had to go to atlas st in worchester in mass (great folks around there always); the gps routed me under a low rail bridge on sunderland rd at one end; fortunately I was warned about this in advance and went through the other way- it is important because there is a regency transportation warehouse/terminal and another whse on atlas I don't think that only I would be disaffected by this oversight

Thos has been fixed in the next map set, but not the one currently for sale.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have several issues. First you should not have to go through all of the BS posted above for via routes. Also many times it will take you on routes that are longer and slower than a more practical route. For example when going from Little Rock to laredo it wanted me to take hwy 19 off of I20 instead of going to I35. After passing up the exit it dropped over 45 minutes. It is on the fastest setting.. Often times It will route you through a residential neighborhood instead of keeping you on a more truck practical route. This happens in Houston alot.

Also in Houston at the 785 on I10, I need to go west but this thing wants to take you east and have you do a u turn at the 789 before sending you west instead of just going w bound from the 785.

Mobile Al it wants you to take Airport Blvd anytime you go to North Mobile County. This is a grave mistake as Airport is 1 red light after another and bumper to bumper traffic. Not a truck practicle route.

When you select the unloaded tab it should automatically lower your weight so that it could route you over roads with a lower weight limit. These are just a few examples.

My next issue is that a road that has been in use for over 7 years doesn't show up on the unit. Looks like I'm going through the woods.( 158 from Saraland Al to Semmes Al) Bought the unit in early 2010 and almost immediatly it started telling me that my map data was over a year old and out of date. Called in about this and was told new maps would be out in 2011. Of course the new maps are costing me $95 by the time I pay taxes and the $8.95 RM wants for shipping on an SD card.
