again I must apologize- I was initially given 01009 and my gps did not allow that; I think I located Bondsville on MS streets on my notebook and refered to the correct zip in my post here there without realizing the discrepancy

No problem. We are all here to learn. I write numbers out of sequence sometimes with phone numbers... makes some interesting calls.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hello Mark,
I bought my TND 710 last March and have had problemes with the first one it would freeze and when I reset it, it would not restart. Called Rand McNally, they sent me a new one, which does the same thing after only 3 to 4 days it freezes and can't start it again. They have sent me 2 new chargers and an update. But nothing works. Its as if it does not charge in the truck only with the house charger when its not in movement. The probleme is in their charging usb port inside the GPS. I called again this afternoon and they are willing to send me a 510 in exchange and not refund the difference. I am very very disappointed in Rand McNally cause with all of this I loose $100.00 cause I paid for a 710 and will have a 510 that is not counting the price of $30.00 they made me pay to send them the first one. With all of this I am not into recommanding them to anyone who asks me about their GPS. I sure would like to know if others have had problemes.

    »Thanks

Humm,, not good. They should have offered another 710. Send me an E-Mail and include your Name, address (no po box), and serial number off the back. I want you to send it to me along with any cables and I will look at it. I live in NC.

    Thanks,
    Mark

When going through Denver, CO on I-25, my TND 700 warns of clearance violations. Truck info is set for height of 13'6" and have driven this route many times, haven't delivered an overpass yet. My current job has several deliveries in and around Denver, would like it if my GPS would include the 25 when routing in that area. Have a B 01 T7E 980262, TND-700.

There are a couple bridged in the middle of Denver with a 13 6 clearance in the outside lanes. Set it for 13 5 you should get it to work.

Their is a restriction in one lane, but the map data has the restriction accross all lanes. Rand is checking to see if it has been fixed in the last map update or the one being tested.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Thanks Mark, it would be nice not to have to change my truck info every time I work around Denver. With the 7E am I current on maps or do I need the update?
