    What Mark said.

OR, download a free copy of "CCleaner" and use the startup tool to stop a variety of things from starting at Windows boot. You may be suprised what all is in there bogging your system down

I have entered some highways from a side road and there is not a posted speed sign for many a mile...

And I do depend on the speed limit reduction.

Just received my replacement TND 710, took it out of the box, plugged in the AC charger and it wont stay plugged in, JUNK!!!
I also have a TND 700 that has been replaced, when you reset the mileage and hours, it starts even though i am not moving, the average speed also will continue after stopping until it gets to zero.

PM me your name, address (no po boxes), and phone number please.

The 2nd item I have heard of before. If you look at the Map screen is the icon physically at where you are at or moving?

    Thanks
    Mark

I wanted to thank mark for helping me get my issues resolved, even accommodating me at odd hours. I hope your supervisors know how dedicated you are!!

The power button on my Rand Mcnally 700 is stuck pushed down. I can't get the unit to power on now. How the hell do I use this unit now? I love this thing but now it's completely useless and I can't even figure out how to take it apart to fix it. (Which probs would make it worse)

If its under warranty - let Rand fix this.
If not, you can do it, as long as you don't let my 25yr old son mess with it.

He took my T7 apart to fix the power button and literally destroyed it.
There are certain steps to do to open these up and repair them.....

Word to the wise: If you don't know what your doing - DONT! :biggrin_25513:
