Correct, as far as the ifta miles are concerned I loaded in Mi and it recorded all the miles in MI and for 2 miles into Oh and then stopped. :biggrin_25513:

When it stops logging miles is the truck icon still on the road or to the side of the road?

This perplexes me... Unless the software is corrupted again, but this is strange that the odometers record correctly.

You have in preferences/truck/mileage log set to what?

    Thanks,
    mark

    It stays on the road.

Just drove 54 miles today with no dest input into tnd. No record in ifta for that mileage today. Trip odo recorded just fine.

pref is set to "truck and car"

Let me have the serial numbers off the back and the version you are on.

I do not remember this being an issue, but then again I change versions almost daily sometimes and issues all seem to roll into one ball sometimes.

    thanks,
    Mark

Oops, Either the miles weren't logged for the day I drove 54 miles or I didn't check the miles under the "empty" side.

I looked and they are there now.

Sometimes when I look under the logs tab it is a blank screen and when that happens I reboot and it shows the miles again.

Also driving on I-30 in texas it had a hiccup about 50 miles out of texarkana going east. It just decided I wasn't on the correct road anymore and routed me on some secondary road that angled off and then onto another one that brought me back to I-30 about 5-7 miles up the road.

my tnd700 locks up have to turn it off and back on. also why do many of the routes off exits to pilots show restricted the tnd tries to route off other exits to get to pilots when its just off another exit. i need to update mapping but i would like answer to the locking up issue or is it another made in china quality problem.:biggrin_25510:

    Click on year also.

If you look on the TND via the Laptop as an external drive, Look in the RM/User folder and see if you see a truck.db-Journal file.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Hard to guess on locking issue. What is the serial number of your TND - on back/right, and the version you are on?

Sometimes a exit may show a restriction that is in error. Give me examples and Rand can verify and correct.

    Thanks,
    Mark
