    I just bought one last night. When I come to a split I'm not seeing the picture like the box shows. I get one that's just plain not as nice as the box and the sticker on the LCD screen when you open the box. Am I missing a setting?

    Forgive me if you've already answered this question recently, but do you know when lifetime map updates will be ready to ship? Rand's online store says they are back ordered. I'd like to update the maps in my TND 700. Let me know if there is another way to obtain them. Thanks and Happy New Year.

    Ouch, what is the serial number off the back of your TND? And main map screen/preferences/device/about - upper right the version?

    Next connect your TND to the computer, close the Dock, go to your start up menu and look for an external drive with a NaviMaps folder. look for a 7_jvi.bin and jvi.bin. what are the file sizes for each?

    I don't have a jvi.bin file I did a search and nothing but the 7_jvi was found.

    your pic is in nite mode, the box pic is daytime mode

    also its different depending on the intersection.

    It's the same day, night and intersection. The only difference in night and day, night is darker.
