Rand is looking at. When we tried a lot of these type of calcuatlons we got a few different results, so we ended up with this. I do not remember if we did a "-" with a "%" or not.

    Thanks,
    Mark

So far my major complaint is the screen brightness. I know you can adjust it for the night-time. However for me the brightest setting appears too dim. If I change it to always daytime, it's way too bright.

Suggestion; allow for adjusting the brightness from the daytime screen. That way we could "dim" it to fit what we feel is appropriate.

Also when using the Automatic setting, it changes before it really gets dark. Yesterday the sun had not set yet, and the thing changed to night-time. Does it go by the Sunrise/Sunset times? If so, I think they need to change this to at least 1/2 hour after Sunset. FWIW, I'm in the Central Timezone, and have it set accordingly.

    Yes sunrise/sunset.

This night time brightness has been fixed in the next version. Slider bar is gone away. Boxes are in.

    Thanks,

Is there a way now to set it for auto night dimming but keep the daytime map colors?

Next version? So sometime in the near future we can download and update to this?

    One other question, that I can't find an answer to;
Is it possible to save a route, then later load that route? I'm thinking it's not possible. Would be great if it could.

    Main screen/choose destination/multi stop trips/new trip.

create your trip here and when you want to run it then go to this trip and hit start trip. Then you can manage it under "current trip" without messing up your saved trip.

    Yes to first question

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Great thanks for your help!!

Reading the Free Lifetime Maps incentive, it states that I need to send in the original purchase receipt. Must it be the original or would a copy of it suffice? The reason I don't want to send the original, I need that for my expense/tax records.

it would be awsome if rand could include low clearance areas and warnings. i'm headed to PA right now and can't use the GPS because it doesn't route around clearance areas. also, it sent me left (west) instead of right (east) at hatfield. i was off-route for 11 miles and finally got to u turn in a dumpy little store's parking lot. that was in red boiling springs, tn
